Participation tasks in the integration process
Participation can mean different activities under different integration systems. Use your plan to identify the task, organiser, attendance rules, and completion record.
Know the names
Under the 2021 law, the municipality arranges the Module Labour Market and Participation (MAP) as part of the route. The 2013 system may include the Participation Declaration Process (PVT) and other requirements. These are not interchangeable with the language exams.
Ask how completion is recorded
Check the invitation, required sessions or activities, attendance rules and how the municipality reports completion. If you have not received instructions, contact your municipal integration team before a deadline approaches.
If you cannot attend
Tell the municipality as early as possible and ask how to reschedule or explain an absence. Keep written confirmations so you can show what was agreed.
Confirm what counts as completion
Ask whether attendance is required, whether you must complete a portfolio or declaration, and how the result will be reported. A municipality may use local appointments or providers, so keep invitations and attendance records. If an activity conflicts with work, care, health, or travel needs, explain this early and ask what adjustment or rescheduling process exists.
