How to find your required exam parts
Build your checklist from your personal record rather than a general exam list. Check the law, route, level, decisions, and any exemptions before registering.
Check the official overview
In Mijn Inburgering, review the exam overview and any decisions about exemptions or adjustments. If you follow the 2021 law, compare this with your PIP and ask the municipality about your route.
Separate exams from other tasks
Language exams, knowledge exams such as KNM, and participation activities are different requirements. A passed result or exemption for one part does not automatically clear the others.
Before you book
Match the exam name and level in the booking service to your requirement. If they do not match, ask DUO or your municipality before paying or choosing a date.
Check decisions as well as the exam list
Compare your current overview with the latest DUO letter and, when relevant, the municipal plan. Look for exemptions, approved adjustments, and any decision that changed your route or level. Save the supporting letters and result notices; a general list online cannot replace the decision recorded for your own file.
