B1 route: organise practice for your exam parts

If your plan names the B1 route, verify its level and required parts first. Use official NT2 samples to learn the format and targeted exercises to build each skill.

Check your route and level

Use the PIP and Mijn Inburgering to confirm what the municipality has recorded. Do not assume every B1-route participant has the same exam combination.

Use NT2 Programme I practice

Programme I corresponds to B1. Practise reading, listening, writing and speaking with the official sample resources and note how each component works.

Discuss a change before switching plans

If your progress or circumstances make the current target difficult, speak with the municipality. A level adjustment or route decision needs to be handled through your official plan.

Turn samples into a component plan

Try one official sample for each language skill, then list the task type and difficulty that caused trouble. Rotate reading, listening, writing, and speaking practice through the week, using feedback for productive skills. Confirm the required level and exam combination with your plan because route participants may have different recorded arrangements. Use a simple tracker with the skill, task, result, and one next practice action to make progress visible.
