A1 KNS: organise society topics for revision
Group KNS revision into familiar society topics, then connect each group with useful Dutch words and examples. A simple map makes review easier.
Group words by situation
Make sections for home and daily life, work, education, health, transport, public services and social customs. Add a few Dutch words and a simple example under each.
Connect words to an action
Pair a place with what you do there: gemeente—address registration; huisarts—make an appointment. This is easier to recall than an isolated translation.
Check the official material
Use current official preparation resources to confirm the topics and images covered. Treat your own list as a memory aid, not as a complete exam syllabus.
Connect a theme with a situation
For each topic, picture a simple everyday setting and identify the people, place, and action involved. Learn a few useful Dutch words together rather than translating a long isolated list. Use the official study material to check facts, then quiz yourself by describing what you would do in that situation. Mix recall with short explanations: name the topic, describe a situation, and say which person or organisation is involved.
